Ingredients
  

Main
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh fruit blueberries, strawberries, or mango
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes
  • Pinch of sea salt

Method
 

  1. Pour 3 tablespoons of chia seeds into your blender or a glass.
  2. Pour 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk into the blender with the chia seeds.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen fruit to the blender.
  4. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of raw honey or maple syrup.
  5. Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt.
  6. Blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until the drink reaches your desired consistency.
  7. If using fresh fruit, add 3 to 4 ice cubes and blend for another 15 seconds.
  8. Pour the drink into glasses and serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

Make this drink the night before and refrigerate it in a mason jar for a pudding-like texture. Use cold ingredients and blend for 60 seconds on high speed to avoid gummy texture. Adjust sweetness to taste. Store in fridge up to 2 days and stir before drinking.
